*Dynamic Meditation*
This is a technique I learned while in a Sannyas center called Utsava in Laguna beach California as provided by the loving staff there who were always available to help in any manner needed to assist this 'dynamic' meditation technique.
It is possibly one of the most significant meditations to unburden oneself of the chaos within creating space for the ability to sit silently in other less active meditations.
Unless you quiet the mind first and expel all inner turmoil, you will never reach to the silence which is available in the more passive meditations, first clear your mind and all its accumulated garbage, then you can settle in for the bliss which is our birthrite.
You can purchase the complete DVD which I recommend because it has been fine tuned to help you through the meditation with music perfectly attuned to each phase.
If you do only one meditation in your life this is the one to start and to finish with. It can be used by everyone and even if you are completely disabled physically, you could do it from any position, and accommodate the technique to fit your level of ability.
I have very bad knees now, and so cannot do some of the stages with the same impact as I once did but I assure you it is still as powerful with the adjustments I have had to make.
For me personally this was one of Osho's greatest gifts to the world.

Osho: "Allow Silence to Grow"
If you have ever questioned why it is so difficult to simply sit in silence with another this is one of the best explanations of it I have ever come across.
Lets see, I am going to attempt to embed a video which I think 'everyone' should have to listen to at least once, as for me it is one that had me rolling and laughing so hard I will want to listen to it again and again!
Enjoy this one! Enjoy your inner silence when it arrises...

Let Laughter Be the Only Serious Thing In Your Life!
Let Laughter Be The Only Serious Thing In Your Life!
Ever wonder why all the religious leaders throughout history were depicted with such serious looks on their faces? Even artists renditions of Jesus and other masters show almost sad looks on their faces, as if seriousness is equated with a highly evolved person.
It has to be the opposite. And if you find a Spiritual Leader who cant get down rolling on the floor laughing, RUN! Seriousness is a contagious disease!
Laughing is one of the best ways to clear ones mind of negative energy and tap into the wellspring of spiritual richness available to each one of us daily.
It enhances left and right hemispheres of the brain, invites creativity into our lives and has physical effects that make your eyes twinkle and puts a warm glow on your face.
If you have a good belly laugh before eating a meal your digestive system functions at it's optimum and food even tastes better.
When you are having a particularly stressful day and are in a hurried state of mind a little laughter can break up the tenseness and help you to relax instantly.
Laughter is one of the greatest joys and you can do it even now, in this moment for a splash of energy and enjoyment!
*The technique:
* You can do this alone or with someone, either way it makes no difference, sitting with back straight close your eyes and remember this is going to be laughter spring up from within you, not something from outside you as a stimulus for 'making' you laugh.
* Start laughing! It may feel a bit awkward at first but that's OK, just keep on laughing even if you have to fake it at first, no breaks in the timing, continue to laugh as hard and loudly as possible.
*Allow your body to move and do whatever it chooses to do, go ahead and lose yourself in your own silliness, your own Har Har har! Hehehe, Hohoho, the point is to just keep laughing.
*Continue to laugh for at least 30 minutes, and when you stop, stand up if you are not already, and with eyes closed continue to allow the body to simply free flow, dance and move to the rhythm of your own energy. Continue this stage for another 5-10 minutes.
* Finally, lie down flat on your back, hands at your sides palms up and just see where the energy feels strongest in your body. Feel how relaxed almost floating your renewed energy is and if something comes up for you, accept it, love it silently and just breathe, feel your breath coming in and moving out.
Again there is a wonderful formal meditation on this technique that I will be linking you to on the blog soon so stay tuned if you are interested in the full version.
* let me also add that once you have done the full meditation or as suggested above, you can do 'quickies' of this technique at any time you start to feel a seriousness coming over you. Just take a minute and laugh! It's OK to fake it to get you started, sometimes laughing at our own seriousness can really be funny.
Thankyou and Namaste!

Shake, Rattle and Roll! Let Go!
Ever wonder why children are able to sleep each night so soundly? How they can always find ways to laugh and be silly in life?
We can learn from them and become ourselves more open to the joy in life if we just start with a shake a rattle and a roll!
In today's world we rarely find time to be as active as a child and to move our bodies in such a way that negative energy is released and positive energy becomes an awakening force that guides us through the day and into the evening.
Life is more than dragging ourselves from cradle to grave and from bedtime to bedtime. Sometimes we need to shake up the soul of our energy vortex and let loose the negative and over burdened energies from the day.
There is a simple technique for doing this and if you want to give it try anytime is fine but in the late afternoon if you do it with your totality you will find that extra umph to get you through the evening with a renewed sense of energy and vitality!
Now this is a sitster meditation to the popular Osho Dynamic meditation ususally performed in the early mornig with the rising sun, this meditation is normally done in the late afternoon with the setting sun to basically shake off the excess energy of the day and to help you enjoy the evening in a more centered and relaxed manner. I love this one it is easy and such a joy with tremendous results.
* The Technique:
*Standing in place spread your feet to about the same distance as your shoulders, feet pointed forward, now bend your knees slightly so as to allow a free flow of energy from Mother earth to the divine.
*With eyes closed so as to remain in your own energy, begin to feel the slight trembling which starts at the feet and begins to move up the body, allow yourself to move with the energy while keeping your focus on the breath. In through the nostrils and out through the mouth.
*Begin to shake it all off , move and anything your body chooses to but remain in one spot as much as possible with your feet being your grounding force.
* Let Go! Shake , Rattle and Roll! Let every part of your body from feet to head, arms and legs go wild, shake out your wrists and head, be as intense as you can and let go!!!
* If sound escapes at this stage allow it, just let it flow. if it does not make sense, all the better it is cleansing out the thrown into the basement of your unconscious, built up from a day in this crazy world mind cluttering bunk, don't think about it, just be the observer and watch it go as you shake rattle and roll!
*Continue this until you feel an explosion of let go, like an athlete shaking it off after a big game, let it go! This stage should last about 15 minutes.
*And finally stop! Stand for a moment with eyes still closed and feel your body, feel the expression it is sharing with you, the gratitude for the inner cleansing. Watch as your body moves and finds the rhythm of your inner dance. Witness as your body moves freely with the energy and begins move with it! Again enjoy this wonderful stage for about 15 minutes.
At this point if possible either sit down or lie down for about 15 minutes with eyes closed and just tune into your energy, and enjoy yourself as you feel the lightness of your immortal and divine being of light within.
There is a great formal full length meditation on this fabulous exercise called Kundalini created by Osho, I will try to get a link to that in another post.
Thank you and Namaste!
You may purchase the full meditation at several locations and outlets but here is one direct link to the Osho Kundalini meditation available for your purchase.

"Vase Breath" The Secret to Intense Life Energy Flow
When a new born enters this world the first thing she learns to do is breath, and when she exits this existence the last thing she leaves is her breath.
Breath is the single most amazing thing we do in life and yet is the single most forgotten technique.
As we begin to grow and mature our breath begins to get more and more shallow causing the effect of actually holding it rather than letting it flow.
This eventually creates blocks within our body which become hidden areas of energy buildup. Unfortunately it is always negative energy which remains stagnant as positive flow does just that, flow.
What we will experiment with here is first simply seeing breath for what it represents to our bodies and our lives, and how we can again learn to breath in a way that helps us to free the blocks that hold us from becoming the divine beings we were born to be.
Now the techniques:
First find a suitable space to begin this exercise, if possible choose a place which is clean and free from clutter, and that resonates with your highest intent for tapping into the divine energy which surrounds you and is available in each and every moment carried on your greatest birthrite, the breath.
Closing our eyes helps us to remain focused in our own energy and a reminder to remain there. from the time we are born, we begin to look outside ourselves for our survival, and this is natural, yet somewhere along the way just as with our breath we forget to look inside for our innermost survival.
The chaos of the outside world needs to be outside your energyfield and not within. In a single moment, on a single breath even the worst experience can be transformed into a calm and majestic moment.
*Sitting with back straight, visualize a a large bottomed vase, starting at your lower abdomen, the vase rises up to your mouth with a long slender neck which is the channel for your breath to enter and exit.
When a baby breaths she takes air in and brings it down to her belly, exhaling completely between each breath holding nothing back, creating a freeflow energy circuit from her base chakra to the crown.
*Practice filling first the base of the vase and moving the air upward to the heart region before slowly exhaling exhausting all the air and stagnant energy out through the top of your vase.
Breathing in through the nostrils and exhaling through the lips.
This is an exercise known as vase breathing.
* Next placing the tip of your tongue in the little indent at the roof, of your mouth, towards the middle, it is now in direct alignment with where your soft spot was as a baby and has the same affect of tapping into the divine as a child does before the veil develops and causes forgetfulness of our attachment to the cosmos.
*On the in breath in synchronized timing, as you slowly inhale, begin to gently pull up on your anus, just as if holding off a bowel movement until the full breath is reached. Now hold your anus firm but relaxed and take a single shot of air through your nose to the third eye and gently, slowly exhale releasing the anus slowly as you do.
The reason for pumping the anus as you breath is to help move energy from the base to the higher, energy moves through the cerebral spinal fluid and this just facilitates that energy in a more intense fashion.
*If you have trouble with the timing of the gentle anal pump and the breath, then continue to practice each separately until it becomes comfortable for you to do both simultaneously.
* Continue to practice this technique as it is the base for all other more advanced lessons in the future.
Thankyou and Namaste!

Friend of the Universe (an intro)
Hello friends new and old, it is great to have finally taken the jump and creating my own personal blog. For those of you familiar with me it promises to be wild adventure and you never know which direction I may choose to take you.
Together we will do everything humanly possible to bring light and understanding to a world in need of trustworthy information presented in an unbiased (for the most part) format.
For the majority of us we have surfed the web and back again to nestle in comfortably with a few chosen forums and discussion boards, but if you are like me, it just does not seem to be the unlimited possibility it presented itself in the beginning.
Great information can get old fast when it just continues to be repetitious and boring as well as stuck in limited areas of members interests.
Well, welcome to what I should have named the patchwork quilt of Internet information sharing. By now the majority of us know what terms and agreements mean and how to conduct ourselves in appropriate manners when sharing cyberspace with others, so I wont bother to ask that any future comments and links stay within those terms of respect and honor.
I look forward to sharing the wealth of magnificent information available to all of us for many years to come and invite you to nestle in, grab a cup of your favorite and kick back often as this most assuredly is going to be an exciting ride.
